FOSDA's Youth in Governance Project (YIG) is funded by Ibis West Africa under the West Africa Human Rights and Democratisation (WAHRD) Programme. It represents the youth dimension to FOSDA's Governance programme and focuses on promoting democracy and good governance across the West African sub-region by enhancing youth participation in governance and decision making at all levels. The project seeks to build the capacity of the youth and create a platform for them to participate in governance through making substantial contributions to the socio-economic development of their immediate environment and demanding accountability from duty bearers.

The project is currently being implemented in three West African countries, see the links below for more information on the project in each country.
