    GHANA: RIDE FOR PEACE IN DAGBON

    Fifty-five contestants took part in a bicycle ride competition in the Yendi District of the Northern Region of Ghana as a peace-building activity in this conflict-prone area, where the King and 40 elders were killed in March 2002. The competition, a joint exercise
    between the Foundation for Security and Development In West Africa (FOSDA) and its partner, Bangu Manga Integrated Rural Development Society (BIRDS), was dubbed “Ride For Peace”.
