Miss Afi Yakubu, an Associate Director of FOSDA has called on all critical stakeholders in the Yendi conflict to come together and create the needed environment for development and also for the children of the community who represent the future of this Nation to enjoy their childhood as any Ghanaian child ought to. The Director made this call during this year’s RIDE FOR PEACE Bicycle riding competition held in the Yendi district of the Northern Region on 30th November.

On 30th November this year, the traditional capital of the Dagbon Kingdom, Yendi, witnessed 715 placard bearing school children drawn from eight schools on a peace walk along the principal streets. The walk was organised on the back of the annual ‘Ride for Peace’ bicycle riding competition in the Yendi District which came off for the fourth time this year. The school children called for peace and development.
